We're dedicated to encouraging more women and young female anglers to dive into the world of fishing. That's why a portion of our proceeds goes towards supporting important causes, such as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Billfish Foundation.

Maddy Hazlett
Maddy Hazlett, the heart and soul behind Sailfish Sweethearts, has been immersed in the world of fishing since her South Florida upbringing. Introduced to fishing at a young age, Maddy's passion has taken her around the globe, exploring different fishing destinations and cultures. After her first taste of tournament fishing, she knew that her life's calling was deeply connected to boating and fishing.
Pioneering Tournament Director
Maddy's journey led her to work on Sportfish boats, traversing various waters and expanding her expertise. Her passion for organizing fishing tournaments became evident as she took the helm of Skip's Tournaments in Abaco, Bahamas for the past six years. She's also been a driving force behind other notable South Florida events.
Empowering Women in Fishing
Maddy's commitment to empowering women in fishing is unwavering. As the visionary behind the ladies-only Sailfish Sweethearts Sailfish Tournament in Palm Beach, she's dedicated to creating an environment where women anglers can shine, connect, and inspire each other. Maddy's influence also extends to being a part of the Marlin Magazine Lady Angler Team, showcasing her dedication and expertise.
